Online Auctions:
Online auctions work just like live auctions only the bidding is done from your computer. You simply register and place bids on the property you wish to purchase.
Bidding:
Select the auction you would like view. When the bidding for the auction is open you will have the opportunity to enter Your Bid or your Maximum Bid for each property.
Contracts and Closing:
After bidding for a property has closed, the winning bidder will be contacted by an associate of Panhandle Real Estate, Inc. in order to complete the necessary sales contracts for closing and provide instructions for submitting the Bidder's Deposit (EMD). Any winning bidder who does not follow through with the contract completion or closing will not be allowed to participate in any of our future auctions.
Bid Increments:
The Bid Increment is the minimum dollar amount that the bid must be raised by. Bid Increments will typically be between 1% to 2% of the current bid amount. You can bid higher than the minimum bid, or you may enter a Maximum bid, but you may not bid in denominations less than the set Bid Increment.
Auto-Extend:
In order to prevent bid sniping, each auction will leave the bidding open for any property that has received a bid within the last 5 minutes, even if the original ending time has been reached.
During the bidding process you will need to refresh or reload your page frequently to ensure you are viewing the most current bidding screen.
Buyer Premium:
Each online auction will have a Buyer Premium shown on the listing page. The premium will be shown as a percentage of the winning bid. The Buyer Premium will be added to the winning bid to determine the final sales price.
Example:
Bid Amount $100,000.00 + Buyer Premium 10% = Final Sales Price $110,000.00
